About Me

I started in the music business playing lead guitar with Jack Green (ex Pretty Things/ T Rex) for two albums and went on to play guitar with Kirsty Maccoll (Terry/ Quietly Alone/ London Girls), Tracey Ullman (Terry), Kelly Groucutt (E.L.O.), Seal (Crazy Acoustic/ Instrumental Version)  and others. I played bass guitar with Raindancer (later to become Feeder), gigging in and around London for a year.

I have worked as a recording engineer for many successful artists such as The Ozric Tentacles (Strangeitude), Dana Gillespie (Solid Romance) and Phil Lynott (We are the boys). In the 90s I specialised in Jazz recordings and worked as the in-house engineer at Jon Hiseman's recording studio, where I completed albums with artists such as Alan Barnes (Here Comes Trouble) and worked with many of the best UK Jazz musicians such as Jason Rebello, Gerard Presencer, Paul Jones, Tim Garland, Brian Lemon and Anthony Kerr. A brief discography.

I now have a Pro Tools based recording setup at home where I play guitar on sessions and write and record music in a variety of styles.
